Founded in Jerusalem in 2002, Kids4Peace is a global movement of Jewish, Christian & Muslim youth, dedicated to ending conflict and inspiring hope in divided societies around the world.
Through a network of local chapters, Kids4Peace operates five international summer camps and a six-year, year-round program for hundreds of Palestinian, Israeli and North American youth.
We are trying to change the conversation — to bring new questions, and new answers to the struggle for peace, ones that are based in real relationships of trust and understanding.
Our mission is to build interfaith communities that embody a culture of peace and empower a movement for change.
DIVERSITY in family background, political perspective, & religious practice

RESPECT for the experiences, beliefs, and choices of others, including those most different
Kids4Peace Jerusalem is a community who share in the life of the city of Jerusalem and regard it as sacred and holy. Kids4Peace youth come from Jewish, Christian, and Muslim families, many who have been living in the greater Jerusalem area for generations. While historically these different communities lived side-by-side without ever engaging the other, Kids4Peace is helping to bring the youth of Jerusalem and their families together, to create a community of leaders acting for lasting change.
Do No Harm policy
Amongst Israelis and Palestinians national identity is not only tied to religion but is intrinsic to social life. When a conflict is so deeply ingrained within the values, beliefs, attitudes, and patterns of behavior of two congruous societies, it is important to challenge these elements to the very core. With this in mind, Kids4Peace has developed a youth movement for participants to grow up together in a community of peacemakers, equipping them with the tools they need to face their own realities. Kids4Peace does not offer a false promise of peace, does not promote specific political solutions, and does not try to influence the viewpoints of youth in any particular direction. Kids4Peace does work with youth to create a language that enables them to express themselves fully in the group, listen to the perspectives of others, feel confident in their own identity, and empower them to work together toward social change.
